Deep Fork Farms is Organic Certified through the Oklahoma
Department of Agriculture. We've been working our
farm for close to 20 years. Healthy living is so important to
us and we've been working our farm free of chemicals and pesticides
long before 'organic' became mainstream. The bottom line
is that the money isn't our motivation and it has been our experience
that the growers who are in organic farming for the money tend
to 'cheat' and often get caught practicing non-organic
practices. We enjoy raising our
own fruits, vegetables and nuts to have quality food on our
own table. The ground here is so lush we tend to get a bit
overzealous with planting and well ... there's plenty for
U-Pick and local Farmer's Markets too. You'll even find
Deep Fork Farms produce
at Wild Oats in Tulsa.

Our organic certified pecans are abundant! They release from the
trees after the first hard frost.

About Organic Farming
- We test the soil's mineral and
nutrient levels annually before farming
- We use untreated and GMO-free
seed.
- Our crops are rain watered, and
watered by ponds and the Deep Fork River.
- We follow strict organic weed and
pest control standards including special teas,
companion planting, hand weeding, mowing, and
getting to the produce before the deer eat it all.
- Our soils are tested regularly by
the ODA. We believe in organic farming so passing
these tests comes naturally for us.
We love the beautiful land of the
Deep Fork River, warm sunshine and timely rainfall ...
we love the the promise of planting and the delight of
reaping.

Organic pecans available now! These nutritious little
gems fall from the trees after the first frost of
autumn. We seldom have any left in time for the first
Farmer's Market of spring so call us if you need pecans.
Pecan shells are available to mulch around acid-loving
plants in your garden.
Certified Organic pecan smoking chips are available for
