From time to time I breed a litter of
puppies from my champion bloodline West Highland Terriers. The
only reason I don't breed them more often is because it's so
hard to part with them. I only allow these sweet little pups to
go the best homes. If you're interested in a puppy please call us.
Keep in mind the Westie enjoys having company so if you're
interested in a puppy, consider getting two.
West Highland Terriers, Westies for short, are beautiful
white dogs. Their hair reminds me of pure white snow. Their origins extend back to Scotland where they
were used to seek and dig out foxes and badgers. Today, they
still love to dig and hunt small animals including squirrels,
mice and rabbits. They'll even dig up moles for you. They love
to DIG!
The AKC has described the traits of the Westie as: Alert, gay,
courageous and self-reliant, but friendly. Faults--Excess
timidity or excess pugnacity.
We find the Westie to be the most affectionate of all the
terriers.
They love attention. They love to go with us while we work
around the farm. Although the Westies love their beauty sleep,
they are a high energy dog and need exercise each day. The
westies are sweet, smart and playful. We love them!!!
